Someone facing a visa refusal does not arrive knowing whether they need an administrative review, an appeal, or a fresh application. They know the outcome they want and the deadline they are frightened of. Most legal sites answer with a list of practice areas, which is an answer to a question they have not worked out how to ask yet.

Firms lose enquiries in that gap — not on price, but because the visitor never established that this firm handles their particular situation.

The site lists routes in the language people actually use — joining family, staying, settling, hiring — grouped into six categories that cover refusals and detention alongside the straightforward applications. A visitor finds their situation by recognising it rather than by knowing its legal name.

Pricing follows the same logic. Four packages state what is included at each level, from a single advice session through to refusal and appeal work, so cost is legible before anyone picks up a phone.

The assistant handles what remains. It maps a described situation onto a route, explains what evidence is usually needed, and hands over to a human at the point where genuine legal advice would begin.

An assistant on a solicitor's site carries real risk: give a confident answer about someone's immigration status and you have arguably given unregulated legal advice. The constraints were therefore designed before the capability.

• Never states or implies a guaranteed outcome
• Never presents itself as formal legal advice — case-specific questions are routed to a callback
• Escalates immediately to a phone call where detention, bail, an airport hold or an imminent deadline is mentioned
• Answers briefly and in plain language, holding to two or three short paragraphs
• Scoped to the firm's actual practice areas so it declines to speculate outside them

That last rule matters most. The highest-risk enquiry — someone held at an airport — is the one where a chat interface is the wrong tool, and the system is built to say so rather than to help.
